The reason we chose these is because they came with the adjustable height solid rods rather than a cord along with a smaller glass. There is a hinge section include to allow sloped ceiling Installs. We have two over a peninsula and stove. The directions aren¡¯t clear for a complete install but with some familiarity with hanging lights it should be manageable for most. The material is a decent color but more of a painted bronze. This was expected at this price point. Overall these are good lights and a nice addition to our kitchen

Was a bit hard to install (but we¡¯ve also never installed a light fixture before). However for the price compared to what I was seeing at the hardware stores… it¡¯s a great deal and looks amazing in our dining room.

It was pretty easy to install.
My complaint is that it comes with a few different sized rods to make it hang at different lengths, but there were 2 17 inch rods and 1 really short rod (about 6 inches) So the light can hang at 23 inches, 34 inches or 40 inches. For us 23 is really too short, but 34 was too long. Something in-between would have been nice.
